Our Annual Spring Meeting was a fun and creative day. We gathered at THE STUDIO, Melissa McCarthy’s new studio and alternative artspace/gallery in Laconia, NH.
In addition to the business meeting, we created an instant WCA/NH Exhibition on the spot! We each addressed a blank postcard to ourselves. Then we selected a blank postcard from the pile, not knowing whose card we would create.
From a vast collection of pens and markers and collage materials, we went to town making mailable art. We turned one wall in The Studio over to displaying our work. After one month on display Melissa McCarthy mailed all the postcards!
Each particpant received an original piece of art in the mail, not always
signed, unfortunately. Here's one example:
