Exhibitions

WCA/NH offers a variety of juried and non-juried exhibitions each year. You must be a member of WCA/NH to participate in some of our exhibitions. Others are open to the general public. Check each prospectus for details. We are now working on scheduling exhibitions for 2018 and 2019. If you have a contact or idea for an exhibition or wish to be notified by e-mail of monthly meetings and alerts, e-mail Paulette Brace, WCA/NH Exhibitions Chair, or come to our Exhibitions Committee meetings, which take place on the third Thursday of every month at the Women’s Club of Concord, Chamberlin House, 44 Pleasant Street, in Concord, from 10am to noon. Everyone is welcome!

Have a Bright New Year!

“FORCE OF NATURE: Exploring the Power of the Feminine”

When women demonstrate their feminine power and energy in positive ways that command deep respect, they are often referred to as a FORCE OF NATURE. The work submitted for this exhibition was encouraged to be broadly interpreted with concepts that might range from myth and legend to the personal, historical or political. Artwork considering Nature (as in Mother Nature and her natural forces), eco-art and ecofeminism were also strongly encouraged. July 6–August 14, 2015.  Check out our Force of Nature blog,  https://forceofnaturewcanh.wordpress.com, for news, history, and related events!
