The WCA/NH Artist Emergency Grant Program
The WCA/NH Artist Emergency Grant program will provide $200 grants to WCA/NH artist members who have lost income and are in a financial emergency situation due to the loss of jobs or cancellation/modification of specific, scheduled gigs or opportunities (e.g., commissions, performances, contracts, workshops, classes, etc.) because of COVID-19.
Who May Apply?
This is open to all WCA/NH artist members whose dues are current as of March13th, 2020. Individual professional mem- bers who devote a majority of their time to practicing, performing and/or teaching an arts discipline, who have lost income due to the COVID-19 pandemic. Due to limited funds, artists may receive only one Artist Emergency Grant.
What Will This Grant Support?
The grant is for artists who require emergency financial help for living expenses.
Funding Criteria and Review Process
Awards are based on a competitive internal review process. Each application is reviewed on the basis of its own merits and against others in the application pool. Limited funds are available. Equitable distribution of awards will be considered as part of the review process.
This is a rolling deadline and grants will be awarded as received until funds run out.
