Words Matter: Choose Yours with Pride
WCA-NH proudly presents Words Matter: Choose Yours with Pride, in collaboration with The Eleventh Letter Writing Gallery at 146 N Main Street.
June is Pride month, and we’re showing our support for community and well-being during InTown Concord’s First Friday Pride celebration on Friday, June 5!
Drop by The Eleventh Letter Writing Gallery, 146 N Main Street, Concord NH, anytime between 4 and 8 pm to create a collage, poem, or expression of pride from a rainbow of words. Choose from six bowls across the gallery, each with a different color and part of speech. Those powerful words become instruments of change when turned into a piece of art that you can bring home and display with pride!
All supplies provided, including light refreshments for all that creative hard work.
Sue Werner Thoresen Juried Exhibition

In partnership with the Lovering Health Center, BLM NH, the Women’s Caucus for Art NH, and the NH Women’s Foundation, we’re thrilled to announce an upcoming open-juried exhibition: the Sue Werner Thoresen Juried Exhibition. This exhibition is presented in memory of Susan (Sue) Werner Thoresen (1944–2024) — a champion of community well-being and the advancement of opportunities for women and families in New Hampshire.
We invite artists of all genders to explore the evolving experiences of women, girls, and gender-diverse people in New Hampshire and beyond. Drawing on insights from the NH Women’s Foundation’s Status of Women in NH report, this exhibition considers the interconnected factors that shape well-being, including education, health care, economic opportunity, caregiving, safety, representation, and societal expectations.
Exhibition will be on view at the Robert Lincoln Levy Gallery in Portsmouth from April 20-May 31
Awards will be given for 1st-3rd place, Honorable mentions will also be selected
